Just this past Saturday, 20th of August, 2022, We were out with our dear volunteers at a community in Okun Ajah.
We had so much fun sensitizing the community residents on the need for plastic recycling and proper waste management.
It also marked the launching of our new plastic collection hub within the Okun Ajah community. We encouraged the residents to bring their plastic wastes to us in exchange for monetary incentives.
We were honored to have the presence of Dr. Femi Adegoke, President, Lagos Recyclers Association, Mr. Yenusi, Assistant Director, Dept. of Climate Change, Lagos State and Mr. Sheni, from Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA). Stake holder engagement across all levels is required to achieve tangible success in this industry.
